SBD-A series safety brake

 

The SBD-A series safety brake is a normally closed design, with the core being disc spring force braking and hydraulic drive release. When the equipment is running, the hydraulic system supplies pressure oil to the hydraulic cylinder, pushing the piston to overcome the preload force of the disc spring, driving the brake arm to swing outward, separating the brake pad from the brake disc, and releasing the brake. When the machine is stopped or in emergency situations such as power outage or hydraulic failure, the hydraulic cylinder loses pressure, the disc spring force pushes the piston back to its original position, the brake arm tightens, and the brake pad adheres to the brake disc for friction braking. Limit switches can also be optionally selected to provide feedback on braking status and warn of pad wear, ensuring safety.

  1. Environmental temperature: generally -20 ℃ -+50 ℃.
  2. Relative humidity: <= 90%.
  3. Altitude: Use an altitude not exceeding 2000m.
  4. Environmental requirements: There should be no flammable, explosive, or corrosive gases or conductive dust around the brake that can corrode metals or damage insulation. When exposed to outdoor rain, snow, or corrosive gases and media, anti-corrosion products should be used.

  4. Intelligent adaptation and protection function: An opening limit switch and a pad wear limit switch can be selected as needed. The former provides real-time feedback on the "release/braking" status to achieve electrical interlocking control of the equipment; The latter automatically alerts when the pad wear reaches a critical value, reminding timely maintenance to ensure stable braking performance.
  5. Outstanding durability and maintenance convenience: Adopting a reasonable sealing structure design and matched with imported branded seals, the sealing effect is excellent, extending the service life of the equipment.
